Housing Plots in Ahmedabad | Featured Story

NDK Sopan has two segments of residential plots to offer, viz. 200 and 400 sq yards, with the price ranging around Rs 2500 per sq yard. The site is located 50 kms away from the Sarkhej Cross Roads on the Bagodara - Nalsarovar Road. Developers of this project belong from the NDK Metalloys & Infra Pvt. Ltd and seem to be a new entrant into the real estate (an attempt to trace them failed online). It takes roughly an hour to drive through the regular Ahmedabad-Bavla traffic on a Sunday afternoon. The drive is largely smooth and hassle-free. Read More ....

UPA, media have a brazen mission to demonize Modi (Sunday Guardian)

All one can say is that the UPA, all its investigating agencies and some of their media friends continue to be obsessively fixated with demonizing Gujarat and Modi. Time and time again, they get caught subverting procedures in flagrante delicto, retract temporarily, and then start again in an utterly remorseless manner, almost as if they have a nefarious mission to accomplish. A mission that has become a sordid article of faith with them, a credo they dare not desert, regardless of the credibility they lose or the illegalities they commit. Well, so long as the government is theirs, these self-styled crusaders come to no harm, at least not yet, and continue recklessly and shamelessly on their mission.

Godhra riots: Sanjiv Bhatt's charges against Narendra Modi lack credibilitY (india Today)

There is now a question mark on the claim of controversial suspended IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt that he was present at a February 27, 2002, meeting in which Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi allegedly directed top policemen to "allow Hindus to vent their anger" on minorities. Retired Gujarat DGP R. B. Sreekumar, who has also taken on Modi for his alleged role in the post-Godhra riots, sensationally disclosed that Bhatt had not accompanied him to any of the meetings chaired by either the CM or senior state government officials.

Gujarat growth on right track, top economist Bhagwati tells babus (TOI)

Jagdish Bhagwati, one of the best known economists in the world who advocates free trade, told top state IAS and IPS babus on Saturday that Gujarat's economic growth will automatically lead to development of the social sector, in which it still lags behind other states, and there is nothing to worry on this score.

"A comparison of the different Indian states suggests that Gujarat's rate of growth in the social sector is much higher than that of anywhere in India, including Kerala", he said, indirectly criticising Nobel laureate Amartya Sen, who advocates Kerala as one of the best models around the world where free trade, strong social sector and strong democracy converge.

They kissed and made up. For the sake of justice. Touching story. (A sarcastic reference to the open hostilities between Sreekumar and Sanjiv Bhatt.)

Almost Zero coverage of Prof Jagdish Bhagwati's praise of Gujarat model of development by media. If this is not #paidmedia than what is it?
